Dr Makhdum Kazi is a distinguished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with extensive training and clinical experience in facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, head and neck pathology, and aesthetic facial procedures. He holds a BDS from A.M.E’s Dental College, Raichur, and completed his MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the renowned Bapuji Dental College and Hospital, Davangere, Karnataka, under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. His training included comprehensive exposure to major and minor maxillofacial procedures in a high-volume tertiary care dental hospital.

Following his postgraduation, Dr Kazi pursued an advanced Fellowship in Oral, Maxillofacial, and Reconstructive Surgery at the Calcutta Institute of Maxillofacial Surgery (CIMS), under the mentorship of Dr Srijon Mukherji. During his tenure at CIMS, he independently performed complex panfacial trauma surgeries, orthognathic procedures, cleft lip and palate reconstructions, head and neck oncological resections with flap reconstructions, salivary gland surgeries, and cosmetic procedures including rhinoplasty, Botox, and dermal fillers.

Dr Kazi is currently associated as a Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon with reputed hospitals in Mumbai including Wockhardt Hospital, Masina Hospital, and Habib Hospital.

He is also the Director and Chief Surgeon at Accidental Clinic, Mumbai, where he performs a wide range of oral and maxillofacial procedures such as dental implants, minor oral surgeries, TMJ disorder management, wisdom tooth extractions, and cosmetic facial surgeries.

His work is backed by a strong academic foundation and a series of achievements. Dr Kazi was awarded first place in a national cancer quiz at the Oral Oncology Workshop and was recognized among the top ten papers nationally for his presentation on “Microdialysis – An Undercover Saviour for Our Patients.” He has presented posters and papers at numerous national conferences and has attended advanced workshops on maxillofacial pathology, surgical diagnosis, and head and neck cancer management.
